This 0.5 micron compressed coconut shell carbon block water filter cartridge reduces sediment, chlorine, cysts, offensive tastes and odors, and more. It improves the taste of beverages and helps retain the drink’s carbonation. It has an extremely long cartridge life of 40,000 gallons with no drop in water quality (the Everpure XC2 water filter cartridge is only a 12,000 gallon capacity).
