Please refer to your unit’s manual for specific instructions. General guidance for replacing a water filter cartridge is as follows:

1. Turn off the water supply: Locate the main water valve. Turn it clockwise to shut off the water supply.

2. Release pressure: Depress the red button on the top of the unit to release pressure.

3. Remove the old cartridge: Place a bucket under the filter housing to catch any water spills. Slide the filter wrench up towards the head and turn it to the left to unscrew the housing. Carefully remove the housing and take out the old filter cartridge.

4. Clean the housing: Wipe the inside of the housing clean.

5. Insert the new cartridge: Place the new filter cartridge into the housing.

6. Lubricate the O-ring: Apply a small amount of lubricant to the O-ring to ensure a good seal.

7. Reassemble the housing: Screw the housing back onto the head by turning it to the right.

8. Turn on the water supply: Turn the main water valve counterclockwise to restore the water supply.

9. Check for leaks: Open a faucet to let the water run and check for any leaks around the housing.
