The BG-10SED is a 10 inch jumbo 5 micron polypropylene melt blown sediment cartridge. This replacement water filter reduces sediment, dirt, rust and more from your water. It's an excellent choice for residential, rural, municipal, and commercial applications. The grooved design increases surface area which gives it a very high dirt holding capacity. It is easily installed and fits just like the Aquapure original (and performs better too)! Fits all standard large diameter (4.5 inch) 10″ water filter housings including the Aqua Pure AP801.

Please refer to your units’ manual for replacement cartridge installation instructions, but as a general guideline, the installation instructions below are applicable for most whole house units including the Aqua Pure AP801 .

1. Turn off incoming water by isolating unit with existing valves on water distribution system.
2. Bleed pressure from the unit by depressing the red button on the top of the unit.
3. Remove housing by sliding wrench up towards head then turn to the left to unscrew.
4. Wipe housing clean and insert BG-10SED.
5. Lubricate o-ring and screw housing head.
6. Turn water back on.

This BG-10SED is a compatible replacement for Aqua Pure AP810, Neo-Pure MBG-45098-05, Cuno CFS810 (5618902, 56189-02).The BG-10SED will fit all conventional 10″ housings including the Aqua Pure AP801, Aqua Pure AP801-C Kit, Aqua Pure AP801-1.5-C, Pentek Big Blue, and other whole house units.
