25 Micron Filter for 3M Aqua Pure AP802, AP802-1.5, Pentek Big Blue 20″ Housings, and all conventional housings that accept 20″ x 4.5″ filters. Fully compatible replacement filter for Aqua Pure AP811-2 (plus, it provides longer filter life!).

The BG-20SED25 is a fully compatible (and upgraded!) replacement filter for the Aqua Pure AP811-2. It is a large-diameter cartridge that fits 3M Aqua Pure AP802 / AP802-1.5, Pentair Pentek Big Blue 20″ housings, and all conventional water filter housings that accept 20″ x 4.5″ filters. The BG-20SED25 is a nominal 25 micron filter that removes particulate impurities and rust from drinking water. This filters’ rigid construction and grooves provide nearly twice the life of its closest competitor (and over 10 times more life than some other filters on the market!).

Please refer to your units’ manual for replacement cartridge installation instructions, but as a general guideline, the installation instructions below are applicable for most whole house units including the Aqua Pure AP802

1. Turn off incoming water by isolating unit with existing valves on water distribution system.
2. Bleed pressure from the unit by depressing the red button on the top of the unit.
3. Remove housing by sliding wrench up towards head then turn left to unscrew.
4. Wipe housing clean and insert BG-20SED.
5. Lubricate o-ring and screw housing head.
6. Turn water back on.
