2,400 GPD Replacement Membrane for the Premiere PS-2400X & PS-4800X Reverse Osmosis System (2,400 GPD & 4,800 GPD systems)

The PS-ROX-MEM replacement reverse osmosis membrane delivers outstanding performance for the PS-2400X and PS-4800X commercial reverse osmosis water purification systems. The PS-2400X takes one membrane, and the PS-4800X takes two membranes. These industrial/commercial RO systems are great for many applications including car washing, bottling, manufacturing, water stores, food processing and more. Hard shell fiberglass exterior. Advanced membrane element delivers consistent and high quality performance.

Membrane size: 4″ x 40″

  • PS-2400X system – 1 membrane required
  • PS-4800X system – 2 membranes required

The frequency you need to replace this RO membrane depends on the incoming water quality and how much water you are filtering. For example if the incoming water quality is low, and you’re running 2,400 gallons per day every day, the membrane will need to be replaced sooner than if the incoming water is low, but you’re only running 2,400 gallons per day a few times a month. General rule of thumb is to replace the membrane at least once every 1 – 2 years.

Filtration Process

Mechanical - A physical barrier traps particles to remove them from water.

Adsorption - Traps particles and some dissolved contaminants through physical and chemical interactions.

Ultrafiltration - Removes ultrafine particles and bacteria.

Multi-stage - Multiple filter stages that target specific contaminants.

Reverse Osmosis - Removes all contaminants to produce pure water.

Alkaline - Increases alkalinity (pH) and antioxidant level.

Reverse Osmosis
Type of Filter

Activated Carbon Block - Removes chlorine, organic compounds, and other contaminants from water.

Catalytic Carbon - Removes chloramines and some heavy metals; more effective chlorine and organic compound removal than activated carbon block filters.

Anti Scale - Prevents hard water scale and corrosion.

Sediment - Removes suspended particles such as sand, dirt, rust, and sediment from water.

Pleated - Removes bacteria, viruses, ultrafine particles, and other contaminants from water.

Granular Activated Carbon - Removes chlorine and some other contaminants; less effective particulate filtration compared to carbon block filters.
