This industrial grade stainless steel whole house water filter, also called a point of entry water filter (POE water filter), is perfect for residential or light industrial applications. The 5 micron carbon block cartridge removes sediment, taste/odor, chlorine, chloramine, THMs (trihalomethanes), VOCs (volatile organic chemicals), MTBE (methyl tertiary butyl ether), and more from water. The cartridge also contains corrosion and scale inhibitor product to protect your tankless water heater and avoid tank failure. The stainless steel housing is exceptionally tough and versatile. It provides peace of mind against the risks of failure and flood damage compared to using plastic housings.

• Siliphos ® scale inhibitor product prevents scale and stops corrosion. It works by forming a thin protective layer on the metal surface to inhibit the deposition of scale and corrosion. It will remove existing scale deposits, prevent scale, and stop corrosion
• Coconut shell carbon block filters have higher contaminant removal than a granular activated carbon filter (GAC filter) which means better tasting water too
