The Premiere BG-202SFC whole house water filter is an excellent point of entry water filter that installs at the main water supply line to treat all the water in your home. It reduces chlorine, sediment, VOCs, cysts, sand, and rust. This system includes a 5 micron sediment pre-filter with scale inhibitor, and a 5 micron coconut shell carbon block cartridge. Other whole house systems may boast being 3-stage, however our 2-stage system is just as effective and means there are less filters to replace which saves money and time. This filter system provides a high contaminant holding capacity and long filter life. The flow rate is 7 gallons per minute. The entire unit is mounted on a powder coated frame or bracket (your choice) that is corrosion resistant.

Stage 1: 5 micron sediment pre-filter with scale inhibitor (BG-20SC)

• Siliphos ® scale inhibitor product prevents scale and stops corrosion. It works by forming a thin protective layer on the metal surface to inhibit the deposition of scale and corrosion
• This filter protects from scale on pipes and plumbing connections, and equipment such as dishwashers, hot water heaters, tankless water heaters, washing machines, and ice machines

Stage 2: 5 micron carbon block water filter (PS-4520CB)

• Premium 5 micron coconut shell carbon block filter cartridge (PS-4520CB) reduces sediment, taste/odor, chlorine, chloramine, THMs (trihalomethanes), VOCs (volatile organic chemicals), MTBE (methane tertiary butyl ether), and more
• High dirt holding capacity
